Fire blanket testing is extremely important, as they are perfect for Class F fires (which involve cooking fats and oils) as well as clothing fires. This means that fire blankets need to be immediately accessible and safe for use in an emergency. However, our Fire Technicians will be able to accurately install, maintain and service in accordance with your requirements. The Australian workplace safety standards are set to ensure that workers and businesses are protected. The fire safety standards are informed by current legislation from the Australian government and can change periodically to ensure the safest working conditions for all throughout Australia. Firstly, we need to identify how many fire assets your site contains. This can be done in one of two ways, such as: one of our fire technicians can visit the site or you can send us a picture of your evacuation diagram.

We will then quote your fire servicing requirements and possible replacement or installation if needed.

Once accepted, we will be in touch. We will arrange a time and date for our Fire Technician to visit the site to ensure everything is compliant in accordance to Fire Safety Standard Guidelines.

Our technician will attend the site, complete testing, and accurately record data pertaining to all your fire assets

Lastly, we will compile the data and give you copies of your Fire Safety Metrics, Fire Safety Certificate of Compliance and recommend any changes if required. Following this, we will send you a Calendar reminder for one month in advance of your next testing. This ensures peace of mind and ease of booking the next round of fire protection testing.

Common fire misconceptions

A lot of business owners sit back and believe that their office or workshop is safe enough. Even if you have the gear, if it’s not being maintained, a great risk is still present. According to Firesafety.com.au, 95% of Fires in the workplace are extinguishable. Having extinguishers in the workplace and making your team aware of them is crucial in protecting your businesses future. Hence, ensuring that your workplace has routine fire extinguisher testing and fire equipment testing is essential for the safety of you and your employees.

Another alarming statistic states that only 13% of people are aware of what type of extinguisher to use given the type of fire. This can lead to potentially fatal risks regarding electrical based fires. Hence, the importance of getting professionals to correctly set up and maintain fire protection testing for your fire safety needs.
